Water is essential for sustainable urban growth, and as cities expand, the need for reliable and resilient water systems becomes critical. Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE) plays a leading role in integrated water management, offering solutions across the entire water cycle, covering source development, treatment, distribution, reuse, and safe discharge into the environment.

With decades of experience, TCE has strengthened water infrastructure for India’s major cities, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, and Hyderabad. Our work spans intake structures with capacities of 1,800 MLD, pumping stations of 2,200 MLD, and treatment facilities of 1,900 MLD, supported by advanced reservoirs. We have delivered transmission mains up to three metres in diameter over 20 kilometres, designed tunnels exceeding 65 kilometres in length, and built distribution networks with pipes up to 1,200 mm in diameter, setting benchmarks for scale and precision.

Beyond conventional systems, TCE has delivered more than 1,000 water projects globally, including desalination, zero-liquid discharge, and stormwater solutions for large cities and critical infrastructure. Through innovation and integrated planning, we continue to create water systems that safeguard resources and enable sustainable urban futures
