Surya “Sury” Kant is a Senior Advisor at Tata Sons Private Limited. He was the Chairman of TCS North American operations based in New York City until March 2022. Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) is the largest global information technology consulting and services company located in India.

In 1990s, Kant was appointed the head of operations for TCS in the United Kingdom. Until 2005, he served as the Head of Operations for the India Northern Region of TCS and until 2020 served as the President of the North America, Europe and the UK operations.

Kant is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and academic institutions. Kant served as an advisory board member of the British-American Business, and the past Chairman of the India Business Forum (IBF) of the Confederation of India (CII) in the US. He was a member of the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) CEO Council and a member of the Fortune CEO Initiative. He served on the Greater New York Red Cross Board from February 2020 to March 2022. He joined CECP (Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose) Board in May 2020 and in April 2022 was appointed as the Board Member Emeritus.

Dr. K.N. Vyas is a distinguished Homi Bhabha Chair Professor at the Department of Atomic Energy, a former Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission, and a former Secretary of the Department of Atomic Energy. A Mechanical Engineering graduate from MS University, Vadodara, Dr Vyas completed his training with the 22nd Batch of the BARC Training School in 1979, after which he joined the Fuel Design & Development Section of the Reactor Engineering Division at BARC.

Dr. Vyas has made significant contributions to the design and analysis of nuclear reactor fuels, including the development of a novel fuel for strategic applications. His expertise extends to thermal hydraulics and stress analysis of critical reactor core components, where he played a pivotal role in executing strategic projects. Notably, Dr. Vyas was a key contributor to the design and analysis of the Test Blanket Module for the international ITER project in France.

Dr. Vyas’s significant contributions to the field have been acknowledged with several prestigious awards. These include the Indian Nuclear Society Outstanding Service Award in 2011, the Homi Bhabha Science and Technology Award in 2006, and multiple DAE Awards between 2007 and 2013. His status as a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineers further underscores his expertise and dedication.

In 2016, Dr. Vyas was appointed Director of BARC, and in 2018, he ascended to the role of Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission and Secretary of the Department of Atomic Energy. After an illustrious career spanning 44 years, Dr. Vyas retired on May 3, 2023.

Currently, Dr. Vyas serves on two prestigious bodies representing Tata Trusts: the Court of IISc as a Tata Trusts nominee and the Council of Management at TIFR.

Dr Alka Mittal is a former CMD and Director (HR) of ONGC, India's National Oil Company, and the Chairperson of the ONGC Group of Companies, which includes ONGC Videsh, HPCL, MRPL, OPaL, OTPC, and others.
