The Ahmedabad Urban Complex surrounds the city and includes rapidly developing industrial and residential areas. Growth in this region required a coordinated approach to water supply and Sewage planning aligned with the city’s long term development strategy. The project defined an integrated infrastructure framework for the urban complex based on detailed studies of topography, growth patterns, water demand and wastewater generation, and evaluated short term and long term sources to extend services efficiently across the complex.
