This renewable energy initiative forms part of one of the largest proposed green hydrogen developments in the region. The project includes a renewable energy base supported by 4 GW of solar and wind capacity along with battery energy storage. It aims to use clean power to produce green hydrogen at scale and support long term decarbonisation plans.

TCE's Scope

TCE completed the basic engineering for a 2.2 GW solar photovoltaic plant and a 1.27 GW wind plant forming part of the renewable energy system. The scope included detailed Bill of Quantities preparation along with the associated technical calculations and engineering studies.

Impact

TCE’s engineering strengthened the planning and development pathway for one of the region’s most significant green hydrogen proposals. The detailed capacity planning and technical studies informed configuration choices, helped guide investment decisions and supported the creation of a robust renewable energy base essential for green hydrogen production.
