TCE partnered with Enel Power for the engineering of the 750MW Ras Laffan CCGT power plant in Al Khawr, Qatar, undertaking both basic and detailed engineering. The plant features two blocks, each with two Gas Turbine Generators, two Heat Recovery Steam Generators with supplementary firing, and a Steam Turbine.

Owned by Qatar Electricity & Water Co, Gulf Investment, and Qatar Energy and fueled by Qatar Petroleum, the project highlights a collaborative and sustainable approach. A 20 member TCE team worked in Enel Power’s Italy offices for FEED services, while 10 Enel Power engineers joined TCE’s Bangalore office, with over 50 engineers managing around 100 procurement packages.

TCE also provided 18 months of field engineering support in Qatar, showcasing their technical expertise and commitment to excellence in global engineering projects.
