Situated at Rawatbhata, the Rajasthan Atomic Power Station is one of India’s largest nuclear complexes. Units 5 and 6, each rated at 220 MWe, strengthened the country’s mid-sized PHWR fleet and enhanced grid stability in the northern region. Commissioned in 2010, these units marked a critical phase in India’s indigenous reactor development programme.

Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE) undertook detailed engineering for conventional systems, civil and structural works, and integration of electrical systems. The team provided design validation, procurement support, and site coordination to ensure timely and safe execution.
