Kudankulam Units 1 and 2 are 1,000 MWe VVER reactors built with international collaboration, forming India’s largest nuclear power station. Commissioned in 2013 and 2016, these units have delivered over 100 billion kWh to the grid, significantly reducing carbon emissions and supporting southern India’s energy needs.

Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE) performed design verification and seismic margin assessment for reactor buildings. The team delivered modelling, data digitisation, and structural analysis to ensure compliance with stringent safety standards.
