Tata Consulting Engineers has been serving as an engineering alliance provider for a multinational petrochemical producer across multiple sites in Texas and Louisiana for more than 15 years. The engagement supports hydrocarbons and chemicals facilities through a high‑volume, multi‑site delivery model focused on sustained capital and operational project execution.

Each year, the alliance delivers between 150 and 300 projects of varying size and complexity, supporting ongoing plant modifications, upgrades, and reliability initiatives across multiple operating locations. The long‑term partnership model provides continuity, site familiarity, and the ability to scale engineering resources in line with project demand.

TCE’s Scope

TCE delivers end‑to‑end engineering services under an EPCM framework, supported by integrated technical resourcing across project stages. The scope spans basic scope development and front‑end engineering design (FEED), detailed multi‑disciplinary engineering, procurement support, and construction management, with more than 35 engineers and designers seconded at client sites to support day‑to‑day execution. This operating model enables close coordination between on‑site teams and engineering centers, ensuring consistent standards and efficient project delivery across locations.

Impact

The engineering alliance has enabled reliable execution of hundreds of projects annually across hydrocarbons and chemicals facilities in the United States. By combining EPCM services with long‑term technical resourcing, the engagement supports operational continuity, flexible staffing, and sustained delivery across a wide range of project scopes. The partnership reflects a stable, long‑standing engineering relationship built around consistency, responsiveness, and the ability to support ongoing capital programs at scale.
