A battery-grade lithium refinery in Robstown, Texas, marks the first facility of its kind in the United States. It is designed to strengthen North America’s supply of high-purity lithium hydroxide and carbonate, supporting the growing demand for electric vehicles and clean mobility.
TCE’s Scope
TCE is providing engineering and design services along with construction coordination for the project. The team has established a structured work breakdown approach to manage delivery and maintain clarity across all stages. Digital tools and cloud-based data delivery are being used to streamline material takeoffs and improve coordination. Close collaboration with engineering partners, fabricators, and contractors is enabling smooth execution across disciplines.
Impact
The project strengthens the U.S. electric vehicle supply chain by enabling a reliable domestic source of lithium production. It supports faster progress through parallel design and construction activities and helps position the client in the clean energy materials space.
