This facility marks the first in the United States to produce battery‑ready anode material for electric vehicles. Developed to support the growing EV market, the project strengthens domestic capability in advanced battery materials and reduces reliance on imported supply.
TCE’s Scope
TCE provided Front-End Loading and EPCM services for the project, supporting a fast-tracked delivery schedule. The team planned and engineered the facility within an existing building, ensuring efficient use of available space. Work included developing the plant layout, integrating process equipment from overseas suppliers, and designing the key systems required for material processing.
Impact
The facility was delivered on an accelerated timeline, enabling early market entry for the client. It establishes a domestic source for battery-grade anode material in the United States and supports the growth of the EV supply chain.
