The Aviation Training Academy at Gurugram is a large institutional development currently under construction to support advanced aviation training requirements. Planned across approximately 5.5 acres with a proposed built‑up area of around 2.3 lakh sq ft, the project is being developed as an integrated training campus comprising multiple specialised facilities within a unified planning framework. The development includes two simulator training centres and one cabin emergency evacuation training facility, designed to accommodate full‑flight simulators, academic spaces, and operational support areas. Campus planning and architectural design have been structured to address complex spatial, structural, and safety requirements while allowing flexibility for future training needs.

TCE’s Scope

Tata Consulting Engineers is providing architecture, planning, and project management consultancy services for the Aviation Training Academy. The scope covers design development for the building shell and interiors across multiple blocks, along with coordination and design support through various stages of project execution. The engagement includes architectural and engineering design for the core building structures, interior planning and detailing for specialised training and support spaces, and continued design involvement during construction. TCE’s role is focused on ensuring alignment between planning intent, architectural design, and on‑site execution as the project progresses.

Impact

Once completed, the Aviation Training Academy will enable the delivery of a highly specialised aviation training environment by bringing together simulator‑based facilities and emergency training infrastructure within a single, integrated campus. The project supports the creation of a complex institutional facility designed around operational needs, safety considerations, and long‑term functional use. Through coordinated planning and sustained design involvement during development, the project is shaping a future‑ready training campus capable of supporting evolving aviation training requirements.
