The client developed a state-of-the-art oil refinery in Vadinar, Gujarat, with a capacity of 9 million metric tonnes per year (MMTPA), focusing on processing crude oil into various products such as LPG, gasoline, diesel, kerosene, aviation turbine fuel (ATF), fuel oil, bitumen and petroleum coke.

TCE was involved in detailed engineering, procurement assistance, and construction management across utilities, offsites, infrastructure and seawater intake/jetty facilities.

The refinery was designed to process a mix of Arabian Light and Heavy crude oil in a 70:30 ratio, with flexibility for different crude mixes. The project included comprehensive offsite facilities, advanced utilities, and robust infrastructure with a focus on safety and operational efficiency through an integrated control system.
