This 50 MW solar photovoltaic development contributes to the renewable energy zone in Benban, one of the region’s major solar clusters. The project strengthens clean energy availability and supports long term sustainability by adding dependable photovoltaic capacity designed for utility scale generation.
TCE's Scope
TCE delivered the complete detailed engineering works for the solar photovoltaic plant. The scope included preparation of the Request for Proposal for all plant components and civil works, along with preparation of drawings and the full design calculation report.
TCE designed the architecture, civil systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems and the instrumentation and control arrangement. The work also included the complete energy yield assessment for the plant.
Impact
The engineering support provided a strong foundation for developing a reliable solar facility within the Benban complex. The integrated design approach strengthened construction planning, supported cost efficient execution and ensured that the plant can deliver dependable energy output in line with the region’s renewable energy goals.
