This 100 MWac floating solar photovoltaic development aims to harness clean energy from a water based installation in Jatiluhur, contributing to Indonesia’s renewable energy targets. The project provides a high capacity floating solution designed to maximise energy generation while optimising reservoir use.

TCE's Scope

TCE prepared the complete feasibility report for the 100 MWac project. The work included technology selection, solar resource assessment and energy yield assessment. TCE also prepared the plant layout, the key Single Line Diagram and the Levelised Cost of Energy assessment for the floating solar system. The scope included preparation of the full feasibility study report.

Impact

The engineering assessments established a strong technical and economic foundation for advancing floating solar development in Jatiluhur. The resource studies, layout planning and cost analysis helped determine the most efficient configuration, improving viability and supporting Indonesia’s broader clean energy objectives.
