This 100 MW solar photovoltaic development supports clean energy expansion in the Kisima region of Tanzania. The project strengthens long term energy availability by adding utility scale solar capacity designed to meet growing regional demand.
TCE's Scope
TCE carried out the complete solar resource assessment and configuration optimisation for the proposed photovoltaic plant. The work included energy yield assessment, basic engineering and the preparation of the PQ curve study. The team also conducted risk and opportunity analysis and prepared the project implementation schedule to support planning and future execution.
Impact
TCE’s work helped identify the most suitable configuration for the photovoltaic system, improving its expected performance and long term reliability. The energy assessment and configuration studies strengthened the project’s ability to deliver consistent solar generation and supported informed decision making for project roll out.
