August 2008 ,The 8th Regional Conclave on India Africa Partnership was held at Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in August 2008. TCE has been playing a key role in this partnership.
The new plant design is environment-friendly and can result in large savings in energy and water. It is also less capital-intensive as compared to existing distillation plants. The award was presented by His Excellency Shri S C Jamir, Governor of Maharashtra at a special function held in Taj President, Mumbai on 26 September 2008.
